It looks like Joe Jonas' dream of making it into the small screen will have to wait. The singer says that his music career is getting in the way of him taking TV roles.

Joe was suppose to star in a two-episode arc on the family drama Brothers & Sisters playing a younger version of Balthazar Getty's character, Tommy, in flashbacks. In fact, the singer was so pumped up about the role that he was telling friends about it. But just last week he had to pull out of the show due to scheduling conflicts for his band the Jonas Brothers.

This isn't the first time his dream of making it into Hollywood had to take the back seat. Last year he was suppose to be attached to the star-studded movie Valentine's Day, but had to decline the offer when production of the movie came into conflict with his music schedule.

In an interview with MTV News he said that he was actively seeking out acting work and that he would “hopefully someday soon act, which would be cool.”

Joe's role in Brothers & Sisters has been taken up by Make It Or Break It star, Cody Longo.
