The Canticle Singers marks its 20th year in action with a dashing show.

The Canticle Singers, a community chorale and performing arts group in the Klang Valley, sees its 20th anniversary this year. To celebrate the landmark occasion, the group will be holding a musical production called Ovation next weekend in Kuala Lumpur.

With 25 cast members in the show, Ovation will include an eclectic collection of inspiring and fun music from the likes of Alan Menken, Claude-Michel Schönberg, Christopher Tin, Elton John, Ennio Morricone, Freddie Mercury, George and Ira Gershwin, Stephen Sondheim and more. You might even hear a few familiar numbers from popular shows such as Miss Saigon, Singing In The Rain, The Lion King and Porgy & Bess. There will also be a musical tribute to the late R.J. Rosales, a renowned Filipino-Australian actor who played the lead role in Chang And Eng.
