Django Unchained

Trailer Park

The trailer to Quentin Tarantino’s latest film is just 156 seconds (that’s 2.6 minutes), but there are at least three quotable quotes in it.

Our favourite comes near the end when Jamie Foxx’s characters tells a guy his name: “Django ... The d is silent.”

Tarantino’s last directed 2009’s Inglourious Basterds, and received a lot of flak for changing history.

For Django Unchained, his subject matter revolves around a slave (Jamie Foxx). Guess he just likes mixing things up.

Dr King Schultz (Christoph Waltz, left) and Django (Jamie Foxx) in Django Unchained.

As the title suggests, though, Django finds power when he teams up with Dr King Schultz (Christoph Waltz) to hunt down the murderous Brittle brothers.

Along the way, these two bounty hunters get to kill some really bad folks (in Tarantino style, naturally).

Besides Foxx and Waltz, the film features the talents of Leonardo DiCaprio who plays the bad guy, as well as Don Johnson, Samuel L. Jackson and Walton Goggins.

Django Unchained arrives in Malaysia on Jan 24, 2013.
