KUALA LUMPUR: Hong Kong funnyman Eric Tsang and his co-stars Teresa Mo and Evergreen Mak have brought festive cheer to local fans with the launch of their latest Chinese New Year comedy I Love Hong Kong 2012.

In the fun-filled flick, Tsang plays the hen-pecked husband of Mo’s domineering career woman while Mak plays her happy-go-lucky uncle. The movie, which explores love and family values, shows how four couples learn to live in harmony despite their differences.

With Malaysia being the first overseas stop for promotional activities, veteran comedian Tsang, who is also the producer, described the movie as a feel-good family show.

The movie also features TVB stars Bosco Wong, Denise Ho, Stanley Fung, William So, 6Wing and Viann Zhang.

The superstars met fans at the Cheras Leisure Mall and attended the gala premiere of their movie on Wednesday night.

They were earlier interviewed live on Star RFM 98.8, which is the movie’s official radio station. Star RFM 98.8 is operated by The Star.

Yesterday, they met fans at Aeon Bandaraya Melaka.

I Love Hong Kong 2012 opens in local cinemas nationwide tomorrow. For details, visit www.gscmovies.com.my and www.facebook.
