8TV goes online

You will find the latest local and selected international programmes, including Gol & Gincu (Season 2), Guess Guess Guess, I Wanna Be a Model (Season 2), 8 E-News, Go Travel, Ho Chiak, Smile Again, The Crime Scene and Trippin’.
You can watch all these shows online for free within 12 hours of the programme broadcast.
Each episode will be free for a week and thereafter it will be archived.
Viewers can also download programmes and archived materials on a monthly subscription or pay per-download basis. Download cost starts from RM1 per download to RM15 for a monthly package of up to 150 downloads.
8TV chief executive officer, Ahmad Izham Omar, said in a press release, “Viewers and fans of 8TV can now have freedom to choose when they want to watch their favourite 8TV programmes.”
He added that there would be some 20 hours each week of fresh content on the website.
“Online TV with interactive content is a compelling vehicle to complement the current programmes available on 8TV,” he added.
Malaysians can enjoy web exclusives, including live/ online events, behind the scenes, audition clips, bloopers, recaps, video promos, contests, free downloads, messenger boards, blogs and wikis on the websites.
